Well our big day is looming, 3 months, 2 weeks and 2 days away in fact! We have decided to get married on October 14 2006. The planning is slowly but surely happening, we have been back almost the same amount of time that is left before the wedding and we're still underprepared!! Mind you, both of us have at least 3 jobs so we are kept fairly busy.
I can't really give you too much more info on the wedding, but when it happens we'll put up some photos here.
Below is how it happened.
Keeping it as short and sweet as possible (which shan’t be very long if you’ve taken note of my affinity for spinning a yarn) there has been news that, in my opinion, outweighs even the grand prize Triple J have thrown our way. On top of winning four round the world tickets and tickets to four of the sickest festivals the world has to offer, I (cookie) have also snagged myself a prospective wife (if she hangs around until we get back).
The very beautiful Shannon Parsons (soon to be Shannon Cook) has - very surprisingly - agreed to take the plunge and tie the knot upon our return to this fine Australia. And just as we folk out here in the country don’t make ‘small’ competition entries, neither do we make our marriage proposals of a tiny nature.
