Triple J Beat the Drum Entry!

holy pack some bags...

Right, we have been back over three months now and still no update, what slackers we are!!

Although we both have at least 3 jobs we will endevour before our wedding to have this site a bit more up to date and complete!  (for more wedding info see the marry me page)

Don't forget to drop us an email if there is anything special you want to see on here or we're thinking of starting a links page so any appropriate links let us know.

Keep checking back and we'll do our best to keep you interested!

A word from Jacko:

Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde & Reading.  Four of the greatest music festivals in the world, and we were given the chance to see them all in one year, and what a time we’ve had.

So, make sure you check out the newly completed Coachella page of this site!

Pack your bags, strap yourself in and jet around the world like Eddie Van Halen. Or alternatively, if you weren’t fortunate enough to be the most gracious recipients of triple j’s beat the drum competition, pay close attention to this website - and the other affiliated websites - and we’ll do it for you.

With the blessing of our nation’s most loved and most benevolent radio station, Triple J, one Shannon Parsons, one Michael Jackson, one Alicia Murrell and myself (cookie) will be departing this big ole piece of burnt toast called Australia and trying our hand at tearing apart what the world has the offer. This once in a lifetime journey begins Sunday the 17th of April, and will continue until who knows when.

Not only are we able to make our way across many tempestuous oceans, rock absolutely out of our brains at Coachella, Roskilde, Glastonbury and Reading, and sample the culinary and visual delights of almost half the countries on earth, but we get to do it right now! That’s not to say that the wait hasn’t been fruitful (Shannon and I are engaged after all) but let’s just say that we’re bloody glad that April has arrived and we’re about to rock’n’roll out of here....

For a full description of the events that led up to our entry, the execution of our entry and the results of said entry, please feel free to peruse this site at will. We are also running a continual (I hope) online journal at comprehensiveadventures.blogspot.com to keep all punters abreast of the latest and greatest happenings in the worlds of Shannon, Cookie, Jacko and Alicia. There are many great photo’s to be seen, and many more to be added, as we make our way around this big bluey-green volleyball we humans call Earth. So as they say in France, au revoir les amis, nous vous manquerons (farewell my friends, we will miss you all) ....

But enough about us....

We want to hear from you! Hit that damn guest book as fast as your fingers can travel and give us your details so we know whether or now you love our drum as much as we do....

The Drum Beaters from Struth.
